The Souss Massa Draa regional council and the Canary Islands have been engaged for years in a collaborative process focusing on aspects of tourism, education and training, environment and air transport.

This process culminated in December 2008 by the signing of a draft agreement defining the priority domains of partnership between the two parties.

Through this cooperation, an education Radio will be launched following a literacy program in collaboration with Radio ECCA.
