Fatick Region in Senegal sought the support of Souss Massa Draa in the transfer of technologies in the sector of Agriculture. The technical and economic potential of the region SMD enables it to bring this support that is a part of the framework agreement between the two regions.

The program focuses on technical assistance for the creation of a pilot farm (irrigation technology and culture) to be a demonstration place for farmers in this region and strengthen their supervision.

This project opens a perspective on South / South cooperation. The cooperation between the two regions also covers other areas: fishing, tourism, education...
