The purpose of the creation of this fund is to encourage the realization of the real cinematographic industry in cities Ouarzazate and Zagora and to develop the cinematographic jobs. The budget dedicated for this project in 2007 is 3 million dirham.

The support for the film activities aims at the location of the province of Ouarzazate as leader of the cinematographic industry on the horizon 2016. This fund identified certain number of sectors which will be necessary to support the promoters to benefit, following the example of the other funds, of the subsidy and also of a sponsoring, the purpose being to assume the role of unique ticket office for the promotion and the development of the cinematographic industry in Ouarzazate, in parallel to the structure of " Film commission" created January 29th, 2008 in Ouarzazate.
