Igran is a regional investment fund, created in 2005, dedicated to the Region Souss Massa Draa. It will invest in projects or companies that may have a structural impact on the region in terms of employment, economic growth or export development. The Fund will also finance projects related to key issues identified as priorities by the Regional Council Souss Massa Draa, in particular water issues, opening up the air, the development of micro tourism industry, development a hub of advanced activities in the Agrotech, creating a center of competence in the field of fisheries, the development of the film industry and the development of tourist areas.

The fund, with a lifespan of 10 years, it is estimated at 200 MDH up to 500 million dirhams. The promoters of this fund are :

• Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion
• Credit Agricole du Maroc
• Holmarcom

The Fund is managed by the management company which will assist and will advise the Fund, in particular through: the identification of the opportunities of investment; the evaluation of the opportunities of investment and disinvestment; the proposition and the implementation of the general strategy of investment; the management and the follow-up of the portfolio of participations.

The accomplishment of these missions will be provided by a management team composed of financial experts and the Souss Massa Draa that engage in prospecting / reception and selection of investment opportunities, through a combination of diligence, in utmost confidentiality.
